After more than a decade leading the Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing, executive director Tammy Modic is leaving the organization. She reflects on how housing in the Northwoods has changed during her tenure.
Over the past decade, the Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing and Frederick Place have helped nearly a thousand people find housing in the Northwoods.
The organization has doubled its budget from less than $200,000 a year to $400,000.
And it has added additional staff and board members.
