Pat Stephens, prolific community volunteer behind Irishfest and Rotary Lights, has died

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- Pat Stephens, a beloved La Crosse community leader whose volunteer efforts shaped the region`s most cherished events and organizations, passed away. He was 77.

For decades, Stephens served as the driving force behind major events and organizations that have become cornerstones of the La Crosse community. His most visible legacy remains Rotary Lights, the annual holiday display that completed its 31st season in 2025.
