![]() Andrea Trane’s title changed last month when the City’s inspection department moved from being under the Fire Chief to under City Planning — which is where it was at least 15 years ago. The Department has hired a consulting company that is already out talking about zoning with area groups. The goal is to have the regulations allow for more flexibility in housing options. Trane explained on La Crosse Talk that the city is still using the zoning codes from the1980’s, which were primarily focused on single-family residential development.
