LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Today marks 50 years in business for the nonprofit VARC, Inc., which started as a small center serving people with disabilities in Vernon County and has expanded to a statewide operation with 13 locations.
Despite its growth, VARC still faces barriers for its clients in the workforce, according to CEO Liz Filter.
