Vernon County hires Finance Director

VERNON COUNTY, Wis. – After almost a year long search, Vernon County announced this week they have hired Annie Lockyer to fill the position of County Finance Director. Lockyer comes to Vernon County from Dallas, Texas where she held the position of Finance Manager for the Dallas Convention Center.

Filling the position has been a struggle for the county and they eventually hired an outside firm to do a search for them after the usual channels produced few candidates. Vernon County Personnel Director Trisha Lepke said Lockyer will start in the position on March 31.

Lockyer’s bio says she was born in California and holds degrees in economics and political science from Washington University in St. Louis and a law degree from Washington and Lee University in Virginia.
