MADISON, Wis. (WXOW) - The Wisconsin State Capitol hosted a special program Monday with the focus on collaboration and diversity. Governor Tony Evers and other members of the administration took part in the event, which featured the MLK Women`s Mass Choir, the Fall Gospel Fest Choir, and a number of speakers. The program marked the 40th annual official state ceremony to honor the civil rights pioneer. It also highlighted museum displays of civil rights archival items and a new exhibit on Wisconsin`s women`s suffrage.
